We are excited to announce the launch of a new perishable handling project at our Breda facility — further strengthening our expertise in tropical and temperature-sensitive logistics.

The operation focuses on Brazilian Tahiti limes, carefully sorted by size (42, 48, 54, 60) and packed in netted branded packs and socks to meet growing customer demand across Europe.

This development highlights Easyfresh’s commitment to tailored, high-quality logistics solutions for perishable goods.

Cold Chain Excellence

The limes arrive in 40’ HC reefer containers, each loaded

with 22 pallets / 5,280 cartons. We take care of strict cold chain conditions, which are maintained at +7°C, 85% humidity, and 25 CBM ventilation to guarantee freshness and quality.

At the Breda facility, the quality control team conducts comprehensive inspections, including temperature checks and fruit assessments. Highlights include:

  • Temperature: 7.7°C – 8.0°C (avg. 7.9°C)
  • Colouration: 85% (light to deep green with yellow undertone)
  • Firmness: 80% firm, 20% slightly sensitive
  • Brix level: 8.6% average
  • Decay & skin damage: both <2%
  • Mould on crown: <1%

All goods are stored at controlled temperatures in Breda before being distributed further across Europe.
